Ski touring
The La Rosière Ski Area offers three marked ski touring routes, allowing beginners to discover the activity or improve their skills away from the alpine ski slopes, which are reserved for downhill skiing.
To enjoy the mountains in a different and safe way, we recommend going with a qualified guide or instructor and checking with the ski patrol about current route conditions before setting out.
NB : Skiers use these routes entirely at their own risk.

Start : La Rosière Center – Base of the slopes (1,850 m)
Arrival : Le Roc Noir (2,330 m)
Length : 2,375 m
Elevation Gain : 483 m
Hours of Operation : 9 a.m. / 5 p.m. (end of the descent)
Downhill Run : Grouse
Ideal for those who like to combine effort and comfort: this route offers a stop at the Plan du Repos restaurant, nestled halfway along the route.
Start : Les Eucherts (1,845 m)
Arrival : Le Roc Noir (2,330 m)
Length : 2,490 m
Elevation Gain : 488 m
Hours of Operation : 9 a.m. / 5 p.m. (end of the descent)
Downhill Run : Hazel Grouse
Highlights of the visit: The opportunity to cross into Italy! Please note: access only via ski lifts (ski pass required).

For your safety
Ski touring is not allowed on alpine ski slopes under a municipal by-law, both during and outside the ski area's opening hours, due to the risk of collisions with snow groomers.
Before setting out, check whether the ski touring routes are open, as access may change depending on weather conditions and snow conditions.
For your safety, carrying an avalanche transceiver (DVA), shovel and probe is strongly recommended.
