Keycard
This is the support for your ski pass: it's a card with a chip that contains the ski pass you purchased at the ticket office or online.
The ski pass is mandatory to access the slopes. It will be automatically detected when you pass through our ski lifts and will give you access to the ski area.
For maximum peace of mind, we recommend keeping it in the left pocket of your ski jacket throughout your stay so you don't have to worry about it!
This card is reusable!
Select your ski passes and validate your purchases. Before paying for your online order, remember to mention that you already have a Keycard. Then, simply enter its number in the format: 01 - 1614 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - X.
Attention: you must enter the numbers of a card that you physically have in your possession. If entered incorrectly, the gates will not recognize your pass and you will not be able to use the ski lifts.
This number is written at the bottom left of your card. It consists of 22 digits in the format 01-1614 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX-X.
Yes, you can order your skipasses online even if you don’t have a Keycard! You’ll be able to collect your pre-loaded card directly from one of the pick-up points in the ski resort that you selected when placing your order.
The card costs €2 when purchasing your first skipass online or at the ticket office.
Yes, as long as the validity dates of the ski passes don't overlap.
You can avoid queues at ticket offices. If you have a Keycard, it can be recharged online or at self-service terminals in less than 10 minutes!
Your rechargeable card can be reused indefinitely, which limits the amount of plastic waste generated. Disposable ski passes are often made of plastic or similar materials, which can take hundreds of years to decompose.
You must go to the ticket office to declare the loss and present your order confirmation. A new pass will be issued for an administration fee of €10 plus the cost of a new Keycard at €2.
This can happen for several reasons: the card number entered when ordering and the card used are not the same, there's an error in the reload date, or the card is faulty. To resolve these issues, go to the ticket office with your order confirmation.
Yes, all ski passes sold online or at ticket offices are concerned.

Every lost item is listed and centralized at all ticket offices and at the La Rosière - Espace San Bernardo Ski Area welcome desk located at the Maison du Ski.
You'll notice there are no bins directly on the Ski Area. Inclement weather, like wind and snow, could sweep away waste and scatter it. Moreover, wildlife could be attracted by food scraps, which would disrupt their natural behavior and diet.
This is why it's important to take your waste back down to the village of La Rosière. We encourage you to use the moloks (large underground containers) to sort your waste.
The La Rosière Ski Area offers secure storage for your ski equipment in lockers at the Maison du Ski, located at the front de neige of La Rosière Centre. These lockers, equipped with boot dryers, can accommodate up to 4 pairs of skis or snowboards. To guarantee your space, remember to book your ski locker before your arrival in the resort!
If you’re going skiing in Italy, here are a few things to keep in mind:
Helmet required: New legislation in Italy, effective from winter 2025/26 – ski helmets are mandatory for everyone.
ID documents: don't forget to bring an identity document, as you may be asked to show it during security checks or to access certain services.
Plan your return: make sure to schedule your return to La Rosière before the link closes. If you're late, repatriation fees may apply.
Wearing a ski helmet is not mandatory in France, but it's strongly recommended. However, wearing a ski helmet is mandatory to access the slopes at La Thuile (Italy).
Your four-hour pass starts at the first passage through a ski lift on its day of validity.
The experiences offered in the La Rosière Ski Area are so varied that it's difficult to list them all here. To discover all the available activities and services, we've created a dedicated page where everything is detailed so you don't miss anything! ;)
