Our High-Altitude Hiking and Snowshoeing Trails
Discover our groomed and marked high-altitude trails and come enjoy a hike in the mountains with breathtaking views of the most beautiful peaks in the Vanoise National Park.
Feel free to hike up to the Panoramic Experience Walkway to admire Mont Blanc and take home a souvenir photo!
You'll find several routes that let you vary both the scenery and the level of exertion. Treat yourself to an easy hike by taking the Roches Noires* chairlift to reach Roc Noir, then follow the “Panoramic Mont Blanc” trail to the Fort de La Redoute at an altitude of nearly 2,400 meters. Up there, you can experience the “step into the void” with a view of Mont Blanc. Head back down via the Fort chairlift to complete the loop by taking the Bout de La Route trail back to the resort.
*To do this, you’ll need to purchase a Hiking Pass, available at ski pass sales locations. A weekly UNLIMITED Hikers–Snowshoes pass gives you unlimited access for 6 days to the chairlifts at Roches Noires, Les Eucherts, Le Plan du Repos, Le Fort, and Les Ecudets.
Entry is permitted until 3:30 p.m.
