Specific Rules for the Italian ski area
To ski in the La Thuile area in Italy, it is mandatory to carry a valid ID and liability insurance.
For off-piste skiing, the “AVALANCHE BEACON, SHOVEL, PROBE” set is required.
Snowscoots are strictly prohibited.
Remember to plan your return to La Rosière in advance, as it is important to allow enough time to make it back to our resort, where you can still enjoy the French slopes until closing time.
New law in effect in Italy since 2025–26
Wearing a helmet is mandatory for ALL skiers and snowboarders, without exception, on all Italian slopes.
