A COMMITMENT CHARTER FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The La Rosière Ski Area is committed to energy efficiency, which refers to all the steps it takes to reduce energy consumption.

Results and objectives 

SOFIVAL group objectives

• 50% reduction in GHG emissions (scope 1 and scope 2) by 2030 (base year 2023).
• 100% of the electricity purchased will be generated from renewable energy sources, starting on 01/01/2025 for ski areas in the Group.

Results of Winter 2024-25:

• Electricity consumption increased by +1% (excluding snow) compared to winter 2022. Target not achieved: this increase is related to the two new Dahu and Chardonnet chair lifts.
• Electricity consumption in buildings decreased by -30% compared to 2022.
• Non-road diesel fuel consumption decreased by -3.7% compared to winter 2025 but a +3.9% increase compared to 2023.

Objectives for Winter 2025-26:

• Reduce electricity consumption by 10% compared with winter 2025 (excluding snow).
• Stabilise consumption of biofuel HVO compared with winter 2025 non-road diesel fuel consumption.
